• Development of novel therapeutic antibody discovery platforms
• Prepare and screen antibody libraries

Position requirements:

• MS degree in Biology or related discipline with 2+ years of relevant laboratory experience; or BS with 2-4+ years of relevant laboratory experience
• Strong background in molecular biology, protein engineering and immunoassays
• Good cell culture technique including transient transfection and stable cell line generation
• Advanced computer and instrumentation skills
• Strong interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to work independently and in teams

Research Scientist/Senior Research Scientist, Antibody Engineering Responsibilities include:

• Proven record of scientific productivity
• Strong background in molecular biology, protein engineering and immunoassays
• Good cell culture technique including transient transfection and stable cell line generation
• Advanced computer and instrumentation skills
• Strong interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to work independently and in teams
• A willingness to accept supervisory and leadership responsibilities within a growing organization

Scientific/Technology Specialist – Automation Biologist, Antibody Screening and Characterization Responsibilities include:

• Apply expertise in automation to the task of developing and conducting assays to screen, recover and profile recombinant monoclonal antibodies
• Ensure appropriate automation solutions are in place
• Point of contact for service and ensure performance of the automation through QC testing
• Assay development from inception through screen through iterative testing of antibodies
• Maintenance of antibody databases through electronic tracking of individual molecules
• Stay current with changes in the field through review of the literature (product and published) and attendance of key meetings
• Responsible for analysis, posting and interpretation of relevant data
• Operate with a fair degree of independence and to be a resource to others within Calmune’s laboratories

Position requirements:

• BS/MS/Ph.D. degree in biology or related area with 5+ years relevant laboratory experience
• Strong background in laboratory automation programming, operation and maintenance
• Familiarity with monoclonal antibodies a plus
• Strong computer and programming skills
